Terms and membership conditions

Clear terms for using Illnessfinder

Revised July 30, 2026

1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to Illnessfinder.com and paid Illnessfinder memberships provided by Lundberg Selection AB, company registration no. 556448-2049, Grevgatan 15, 114 53 Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: contact@lundbergselection.com, telephone +46 8 559 220 99.

Creating an account or using the free service does not create a paid membership. A paid agreement is formed only when the order and payment are confirmed in Stripe Checkout.

2. Educational purpose — not medical care

Illnessfinder is an educational case-analysis and reference tool. It shows possible conditions associated with information entered in a case and supports structured reasoning about symptoms, risk factors and pathophysiological mechanisms. Results are not a diagnosis, medical advice, an examination or a treatment recommendation.

Do not delay professional care or start, stop or change treatment because of the service. A qualified healthcare professional must assess symptoms and medication in their full clinical context. For severe or urgent symptoms, contact local emergency services.

3. Accounts and proper use

Account information must be accurate and access credentials must be kept secure. The service may not be used unlawfully, to interfere with security or operation, or to copy, scrape or redistribute protected content beyond ordinary personal or authorised organisational use.

Case fields are not designed for names, identity numbers, contact details or other direct identifiers. Do not enter such information. The separate Privacy notice explains how account, billing and temporary case information is handled.

4. Memberships, prices and payment

The membership page describes Free, Professional and Platinum access. Paid plans are offered monthly or annually. Before payment, the order summary and Stripe Checkout show the plan, billing period, total consumer price in EUR, automatic renewal and cancellation conditions. Consumer prices include applicable VAT when it is due.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Illnessfinder does not receive or store full card details. A receipt or invoice and the contract information are made available in My account and, when email delivery is enabled, in a durable electronic confirmation.

5. Duration, automatic renewal and cancellation

A monthly membership renews for one month at a time. An annual membership renews for one year at a time. Renewal continues until the membership is cancelled. Cancellation can be made at any time in My account and takes effect at the end of the already paid period; access remains available until then.

Where applicable law requires a reminder before an annual automatic renewal, it will be sent in writing no later than one month before the final cancellation date. A price change applies only to a future renewal and will be communicated in advance; it does not change an already paid period.

6. Immediate access and the right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw from a distance contract. The purchaser can request that access starts immediately. If the right of withdrawal is exercised after performance has begun at the purchaser’s express request, a proportionate amount may be payable for the part supplied before withdrawal, to the extent permitted by law.

The right of withdrawal can be exercised through the clearly marked online withdrawal function in My account. It is separate from cancelling future renewals. The function records the time of receipt and provides a reference; an electronic receipt is sent without undue delay when transactional email is enabled. Statutory rights are not restricted by these terms.

7. Function, compatibility and changes

The service requires a current web browser, an internet connection and cookies necessary for account and session security. Medical knowledge, classifications and technical dependencies change. Reasonable updates, corrections and security changes may therefore be made. Material changes that adversely affect a paid continuous digital service are handled in accordance with mandatory consumer law.

8. Availability, conformity and complaints

Illnessfinder may contain omissions, errors or information that is no longer current. No result should be treated as complete or conclusive. This does not limit a consumer’s mandatory rights if a paid digital service is not supplied or does not conform to the agreement.

Complaints can be sent to the provider at the address or email in section 1. Include the account email and relevant invoice reference, but do not include case health information unless it is necessary for the complaint.

9. Intellectual property and external links

The service, its design, software and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law and belong to Lundberg Selection AB or the relevant rights holder. Ordinary use does not transfer intellectual-property rights. Third-party links are provided for reference; their content and terms are controlled by their operators.

10. Responsibility and mandatory rights

Use of the service is subject to these educational and technical limitations and to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, consumer rights or data-protection rights where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

Swedish law applies without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of the country where the consumer habitually resides. A dispute should first be raised with Lundberg Selection AB. A Swedish consumer may also ask the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, arn.se, to review an eligible dispute. A consumer may also use other competent out-of-court or court procedures.
